Industrial pharmacy training offered at Cipla Quality chemicals industry and hospital pharmacy at Mulago National referral Hospital, Mbarara Regional referral hospital. Community pharmacy at a number of community pharmacies in kampala city.
Length of training periods
Usually 2weeks to three months but always negotiable
Available months and cities
Everywhere in Uganda but mostly in Kampala and Mbarara. This is highly determined by the availability of hosts but we can negotiate with hosts anywhere in the country. In kampala, all the above mentioned fields are available but Mbarara only Hospital and community pharmacy practice are available. Duration of time is always negotiable depending on the host but usually 2-weeks to 1month per host.
Type accommodation
student halls, guests houses, hotels and hostels paid by students depending on the choice of accommodation; student hall is free. Guest houses; Sh. 100,000 (apporx. USD 28) per night with food.
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
Most employers don't pay.
