Area possibilities
Hospital - in this area, participants will have the chance to rotate different wards at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center, the largest and biggest tertiary hospital in Liberia whilst counselling patients, taking their full history, teaching junior pharmacy students and learning from consultant pharmacists and physicians.
Community Pharmacy - Participants shall have the opportunity to make impact through dispensing and educating patients in top community pharmacies in the country.
Academia/Research - participate in research, attend lectures in areas of interest (Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Microbiology). Participants can also choose to have mentorship session for junior students at the School of Pharmacy.
Length of training periods
The training is expected to take not less than 5 weeks and maximum of 8 weeks.

Type accommodation
Participants can have a plethora of choice from the Students residential quarters or stay with a family host. These mode of accommodation are at the expense of the association. Participant can also seek hotels and guest houses to meet their desire and the association will be responsible to find the most affordable but conducive type at the expense of the participants.
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
Compensation is depending on the host company.

Other requirements
internal transportation and feeding shall be at the expense of the participants, but the host association shall sort out the modes of transportation.
Some company hosts might provide transportation from accommodation to work and vice versa for the participants.

check the website for your country visa eligibility to Liberia. Countries in West Africa do not need visa to come to Liberia. Passports, Yellow fever card and covid-19 certificcate are needed.
