IPhSA offers these fields to the summer SEP incoming students:
Clinical Pharmacy: In this course, you can experience being in clinical Rounds at university hospitals with other medical and pharmacy students while well-educated professors discuss the patient's situation and the actions that have to be taken place. Here you can truly understand what the responsibilities of a clinical pharmacist are.
Research: Students can choose their preferred field among Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Toxicology, Biotechnology and even industry! Your working schedule will depend on the number of students who apply.
Pharmacoeconomic: it’s a very interesting and popular course at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The students will learn about the pharmaceutical market, pricing, modeling, cost-effectiveness of healthcare systems, etc.
Note: Regardless of the field you choose, we have a pharmaceutical company visiting program for every incoming student.

Length of training periods
All courses can be organized from 2-4 weeks even more if you inform us about your situation and field of interest.

Type accommodation
Accommodation is at the International dormitories of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. It’s close to the university and hospitals. It is a great choice for incoming students.
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
Students will receive the transportation service from the airport to the dorm with about 10 dollars cost. No pocket money is provided but food and transportation are quite cheap. There are lots of restaurants and cafes near the dormitory and university. Plus we will provide the food for you at the social events in case you can't reach any places to grab a bite :D
Language requirements
If students are fluent in English, they can easily communicate with most of their friends in Iran and their professors.
Other requirements
Students should be at least in their 2nd year of study.
Information on Work Permits and Visa
The visa process is now longer than normal due to COVID-19 situation . You should apply at least 7 weeks before the time of your entrance to the country.
You have to send us these documents and you're on! - A filled application form (the SEO will send you the blank form) - A photo of the first page of your passport - A passport picture which matches the picture in your passport
and then after 2 weeks you will receive a notice that you have to visit the embassy of Iran ,in the city which you have mentioned in your application form before, to get your visa.
Selection Procedures
All the students can apply, and we can find a suitable field for them unless their request is at least 5 weeks before the date of their entrance to Iran. It is recommended to apply asap. The sooner, the better!
