July-September (about 3 months). Two (2)-four(4) weeks are also available depending on the student's preference.

Type accommodation

Students have to pay for their accommodation, but they will be guided to find affordable options whether university dormitory or an apartment.

Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration

Unfortunately, student (s) are expected to cover all their expenses, and no pocket money or other remuneration is provided.

Language requirements

Fluency in English is required. Speaking Turkish is advantageous for everyday communication, although it is not required.

Other requirements

Student(s) who have completed at least four (4) semesters. Thus, preference will be given to those further along in their studies. Respect for the country's culture, university, and workplace is expected of students.

Nationals of the Syrian Arab Republic, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Republic of Armenia need to apply in person to a TRNC Embassy, Representative Office, or Consulate General abroad to obtain a visa prior to their travel to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

NOTE: Only Ercan International Airport is to be used. All incoming students are required to have travel insurance.

Selection Procedures
  1. Applying as soon as the announcements and application forms are available is advised.
  2. Early application and those who really show interest obey all the rules and pay their SEP fee will be considered first.
