Area possibilities
NPSA offers placement in Academic institutions, hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy and Pokhara University Lab. During the internship period, the students will be working on the host site as a trainee. They will be involved in the tasks assigned by the host such as being involved in the laboratory research, theory classes of the pharmacy department in the university.
Length of training periods
14 days Students will be placed in Pokhara University throughout the internship period. Accommodation will also be arranged by the university itself nearby the location of the university.
Available months and cities
Pokhara University, Pokhara, Nepal The total days covered by the SEP will be 14 days from arrival day to the departure day. The academic internship will be available at Pokhara University where you get to be involved in the theory as well as practical activities of the pharmacy department.
Type accommodation
Accommodation will be provided in the university hostel and students don't need to pay for it. Hostel will provide lunch and dinner so students have to pay for any other food stuff. In case the student is not comfortable with the hostel environment nearby hotels can be managed for which the student is responsible for all the expenses. For a normal 3 star hotel, the cost is around $10 per night including a single meal.

Language requirements
All the events and internship will be carried out in English medium. Nepali language can be helpful when talking to the locals.
Information on Work Permits and Visa
It is the responsibility of the student to apply for their own visa to enter the country. The Invitation Letter (IL) will be sent as soon as ES has placed a signed WoL to home SEO.
