Type accommodation
Hosting families, Hotels, Hostels. Paid by the student. Hotel accommodation is $15 to $40 per night depending on state of exchange. Note: $1= 1400 naira as at the time of filling out this form. No deposit, payment for period of stay is done per night.
Board, pocket money or other financial benefits/remuneration
Board paid by the student. Spending money not provided. Feeding: Approximately $10 to $30 per day. Logistics: Approximately $4 to $6 per day.

Information on Work Permits and Visa
For students visiting from ECOWAS countries, they do not need a Visa. Students from countries outside ECOWAS can apply for a visa online (e-Visa), for academic exchange programs. Valid passport for at least 6 months. 2 recent passport size photographs. Academic credentials of participants. Evidence of return ticket. Letter of invitation from approved institution/ host in Nigeria. Acceptance letter from institution on exchange program. Visitors are required to show evidence of sufficient funds. Visitors are expected to show evidence of hotel reservations or host addresses in Nigeria.
Visitors are to obtain: Acceptance letter from host institution. Apply online for an e-Visa. Upload visa requirement and pay visa fees Obtain visa Validity of Visa is 90 days from issuance. The amount payable depends on the country.
