Today, the Federation represents over 350,000 pharmacy students and young graduates from 84 countries worldwide.
IPSF has 5 Regional Offices:
1. African Regional Office (AfRO) – Established in 2008.
2. Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) – Established in 1999.
3. Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO) – Established in 2008.
4. European Regional Office (EuRO) – Established in 2013.
5. Pan American Regional Office (PARO) – Established in 1999.
As you may have noticed, EMRO is a part of IPSF.
IPSF EMRO is a functional extension of the IPSF Executive structured by elected pharmacy students and recent graduates from IPSF member countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region (Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Dubai, Lebanon, Casablanca), forming Regional Working Group. Its mission shall be to advance and support the aims and objectives of the Federation at regional level.
IPSF EMRO was Established in August 2008, after being approved during The 54th IPSF World Congress in Romania, our EMRO office is managed by the RWG, who are pharmacy students and recent graduates from the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The establishment of the IPSF EMRO gave us the opportunity to expand the IPSF worldwide activities to reach pharmacy students in the Eastern Mediterranean region and give them the chance to explore and enjoy IPSF in oriental taste.
