The duties of the President are to direct the activities of the Executive and those of the subcommittees. The President also represents IPSF at official meetings and ensures maintenance of contacts and liaisons between related outside bodies and the Fe deration. They are also responsible for furthering relations with professional contacts and allied organizations.

The President-elect is to work closely with the President and the Executive Committee and in the second year of the term, is approved by the General Assembly move into the President position. They are to develop the skills and knowledge that are required to run the Federation and provide support to the Executive Committee.

The duties of the Secretary General are to attend to the correspondence of the Secretariat and to keep records of the proceedings of the Executive Committee meetings and General Assembly. He is also responsible for the updating of the IPSF Official Documents and for distributing appropriate documents to IPSF member organizations. He chairs the Constitutional Working Committee to make modifications to the constitution as decided on in the General Assembly at the World Congress.

The Treasurer controls the Federation’s finances and ensures that the Federation is run efficiently. He performs all financial transactions on behalf of the Federation and is also in charge of the administration of the Development Fund. The Treasurer also prepares a detailed budget for the current financial year and produces summaries of the accounts of the Federation. The Treasurer is also responsible for working with the President and Secretary General to secure external funding for the Federation.

The Chairperson of External Relations is responsible for maintaining relations with professional contacts and allied organisations. He/She should participate in joint working groups with the Federation’s allied organisations; ensures maintenance of contacts and liaisons between related outside bodies and the Federation and organises meetings where appropriate; he/she is responsible for securing new strategic partnerships as well as obtaining appropriate sponsorship and funding for the Federation with the help of the President. He/ She should ensure that sponsors are acknowledged in the manner agreed between the Federation and the sponsor, in liaison with the Chairperson of Media and Publications and President. He/She should actively publicise IPSF, and international pharmaceutical students’ events.

The Chairperson of Internal Relations is responsible for supervising Regional Relation Officers in their duties to keep in regular contact with the Contact Persons. He has to share all information and publications, update CPs properly and to give outcomes to other Executives. Duties of Chairperson of Internal Relations are to keep the IPSF Contact Persons’ Handbooks updated and to convene the scheduled Contact Persons’ meeting at the Congress. He is in charge of keeping and maintaining an up to date contact list of member organizations and to make these changes visible.

The Chairperson of Media and Publications supervises the marketing coordinator, editor-in-chief, merchandise coordinator, as well as the design and editorial committees.  The Chairperson also works closely with the regional media and publications officers to ensure publications and projects are shared locally and globally.  The Chairperson is responsible for ensuring the Media and Publications team produces all official IPSF publications, social media presence, and official documents in accordance with the branding standards for IPSF.

The Chairperson of Pharmacy Education is responsible for monitoring and evaluation the implementation and impact of IPSF phamacy education projects. Those include Moving On II and III that are IPSF original research project series. He/she also co-ordinates IPSF's annual educational supplement Phuture. At the annual IPSF congress, the Chairperson organises the Educational Symposium. He/she is also co-ordinating the FIP/IPSF Students' Day and other IPSF joint sessions at the FIP Congress, together with Chairperson of Professional Development.

The Chairperson of Professional Development is in charge of co-ordinating the IPSF Patient Counselling Event (PCE) and Pharmacy Professional Awareness Campaign (PPAC) and organises workshops related those campaigns at the annual IPSF Congress.

The Chairperson of Public Health is responsible for facilitating the implementation of IPSF public health campaigns by member associations. She chairs the Public Health Sub-Committee and works closely with them to support and encourage member associations in their public health campaigns. This includes co-ordinating the distribution of relevant resources. In her role, She is also responsible for developing IPSF's public health partnerships and reporting to allied organisations of IPSF public health initiatives.

The Chairperson of Student Exchange facilitates the smooth running and organisation of the IPSF Student Exchange Programme (SEP). He is responsible for updating the Domestic Rules as approved by the General Assembly as well as the SEP Guidelines. He will publish detailed statistical data about the SEP each year and convenes the scheduled SEP meetings at congress. He is also responsible for the new SEP online platform.

The duties of the Chairperson of the IPSF World Congress Reception Committee are to organize all matters related to the IPSF world congress starting from setting the spending limits in accordance with the provisional budget, following the previously submitted plan to ensure the smooth running of the organizational process, providing all logistics needed for the event’s participants, to giving a final report of what have been done at the end of the IPSF World Congress which declares the end of their duties.
